Karon Woodland is the creative force behind KW Couture — a custom clothing house specializing in premium leather, suede, and mixed media. The allure of leather anchors the collection across every season, intertwined with luxurious fabrications that embody strength with an element of surprise.
Born in Philadelphia and holding an accounting degree from Widener University, her career path changed soon after graduation. A natural talent and deep curiosity for garment construction led her to master the art of tailoring. She opened her first studio in 1992 and has loved working one on one with clients ever since.
KW Couture brings the custom experience that the bespoke suit brings to men — extended to everyone. Intricate tailoring that molds with the body, juxtaposed with delicate draping, these are investment pieces designed to enhance and complete the wardrobe for decades.
The 2018 relaunch at Philadelphia Fashion Week sent a clear message: KW Couture is here. A remarkable example of a woman following her vision to reach an international market, Karon continues to challenge the norms of the industry — unafraid, and entirely her own.
